A Campus Strategy for Clubs in Need of One
There are many campus ministries out there with excellent strategies to help students lead their clubs well. But we still come across many student-led Bible Clubs that default to having a devotion time, prayer, and maybe worship but no real strategy for evangelism and discipleship. If you have a club that needs a sense of direction and focus this could be a helpful outline for them.
WEEK ONE - PRAYER
Students focus on praying for their school, praying for each other, and praying for friends who do not yet know Jesus. Visit www.9monthmissiontrip.com/prayer for ideas.
WEEK TWO - CARE
Students work on caring about each other and caring about other students in their schools who need Jesus. Visit www.9monthmissiontrip.com/care for ideas.
WEEK THREE - SHARE
Students share the Gospel message in the meeting and invite others to give their lives to Jesus. Visit www.9monthmissiontrip.com/share for gospel sharing tools.
WEEK FOUR - PREPARE
Students plan for the next month. Who will lead each week? What will they do?
This is a simple framework that gives students a plan and a direction for forward momentum. They can flesh this out and build on it anyway they want but they will come to each month with a sense of knowing that their club is accomplishing something through their meetings.
